For the first time, the research team under the supervision of ICST faculty member, Dr. Niyaz Mohammad Mahmoodi, fabricated a peculiar Laccase immobilized nano-biocatalysts using graphene oxide – zeolite nanocomposites. Furthermore, biodegradation of Direct Red 23 as the target organic pollutant was monitored. The results of this work have been published in Applied Catalysis B: Environmental, 2019
