Inclusion of ICST faculty members in top 1% highly cited researcers’ list released by ISC

In consonance with the announcement made by ISC concerning Iranian highly cited researchers, different indicators were evaluated using data extracted from ESI and WoS databases over a ten years period. The methodology investigating citation indicator and other indicators including cited/citing (all citations), self-citation per paper, %self-citation and cited/citing (self-citations excluded) was developed.
Prof. Niyaz Mohammad Mahmoodi, Prof. Bahram Ramezanzadeh and ICST’s post graduate student Dr. Mohammad Ramezanzadeh as three Iranian highly cited researchers were featured and their performance were evaluated.
