For the first time, researchers from Institute for Color Science and Technology, M. Mahmudzadeh, H. Yari, B. Ramezanzadeh, M. Mahdavian, developed a novel UV-blocker/absorber through reduction of GO (rGO) sheets by green reductants based on u. dioica leaves' extract and modification by conventional organic UV absorber. The synergism effect of GO and organic UV absorber on the enhancement of the out-door resistance and anti-corrosion behavior of the polyurethane coatings was reported by these authors. This work is pioneer beyond the previous publications as it introduces rGO produced by a green approach for improvement of weathering resistance and corrosion protection of polyurethane composite coatings.  The results of this work have been published in Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Research, 2019, https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jiec.2019.06.026
